Fundraising
Our main fundraising project will be selling Washtub coupon booklets.
Each swimmer is required to sell 10 booklets.
The booklets sell for $10 each and are full of valuable coupons.  One carwash alone pays for the booklet.
The team sold these last year and were very successful.

If you have not yet signed up for a volunteer position, just send us a quick e-mail to let us know how you would like to help.

Volunteer Opportunities
Parents/Family Members are required to volunteer one time for each swimmer on the team.

Volunteering is easy and fun!  Here are some of the ways to help the team:

Stroke Judge
We are in dire need of an additional stroke judge.   There is one short class that is required to learn the rules.   This person would be responsible for judging two meets.  Without stroke judges, we can't have swim meets!

Starter
Another important position.  The starter announces the races and signals the starts.   We need someone who can keep the meet running efficiently.

Timers
We need 9 timers per meet.  Timing is fun!  There are three timers per lane and all times are recorded.  All that's required is checking that the right swimmer is in the correct lane and starting/stopping a stopwatch.  Timers have the best view of every race.

Scorer
Jennifer M. is our head scorer.  She needs a volunteer at each meet to assist her with entering times, etc.  No experience is needed.  Scorers get to sit in the shade!

Concessions
Three volunteers are required to help set up, sell and clean up concessions.  It's a busy but fun job.

Event Board
One volunteer is needed at each home meet to write the current event/heat number on a dry erase board.  Very easy job poolside with a great view of all the races.

No matter what volunteer position you sign up for, you will always be able to head poolside to see your child swim!
